Foretoken as a versatile, accomplished cellist since the genesis of her undertakings in classical music at the age of eight, Zoe Hale has been praised for her refined depth of tone in spiritual, pensive, and virtuosic lyricism in both classical and contemporary genres.
In virtue of Zoe’s primary musical education at Hoff-Barthelson Music Academy and Colburn School, her connate elegant, poised performances and stage presence presented her with avenues of accomplishments through appearances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and most profoundly, at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in concert with Lynn Harrell. Before her undertakings in higher education, she was mentored by Trevor Handy (member of Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and performer with the LA Philharmonic and LA Opera), who influenced her aspiration to accomplish a professional music career.
Upon attending New York University’s Instrumental Performance (String Studies) department and accomplishing a Bachelor of Music, Zoe was mentored by maestro cellist, Julian Schwarz. Her professional career has been greatly influenced by her experiences in higher education and through her work as a performance/recording musician in New York University’s Film Scoring and Instrumental Performance departments.
Celebrated by her musicianship and poise on stage, Zoe became recognized by the Miss Universe Organization, which awarded her the titles of Miss Washington Square USA 2023 and Miss Golden State 2024. Through her delegacy in Miss New York USA and Miss California USA, a platform was granted for Zoe to advocate for the preservation of classical arts in a contemporary society.
As a professional cellist, she performs solo recitals and collaborative works with artists in recording studios, photography, and films in Los Angeles and New York City. Most recently and prominently, she performed a solo recital at a John Revere Williams’ historical monument in adjunction with the Getty House, as well as in New York City, where she makes appearances with accomplished groups, one of which including the String Orchestra of Brooklyn, as well as in private receptions and in roles as an actor/recording artist featured in independent films.
